<title>Welcome to Willis&#x27; Pad</title>
<link>http://willisliu.multiply.com/</link>
<description>WELCOME to my Pad!! Please enjoy your stay here and feel free to browse around.
&#x3C;P&#x3E;&#x26;nbsp;I started out as a photographer really young as a child when I got my first plastic toy rangefinder that cost about $10 which came together with square-cubelike disposable flash. Without any knowledge of photography rules and skills, I ventured out into the world and started shooting, ready to capture the world in a click. Photography came in and out of my life, but I always had a camera nearby within reach, be it just for the casual moment or for a vacation or with family members. My joys were to capture anything that is curiously pleasing and interesting to my eyes. It is funny how photography seem to pop right back into my life when you have left it somewhere behind, remembering how often I landed myself in the darkroom on many occasions out of the blue. Of course then it was when I stayed in the US for many years that the hobby became somewhat serious when I bought my first SLR camera. I went on photowalks any free time I had to capture the essence of the people and the city around me, photographing shapes, buildings and colors and sometimes black and white as well. I also started collecting a lot of antique cameras that are vastly available in the US, which started me on a quest for the perfect film, slides and toning. To date, I am still shooting and have re-discovered photography in a different form. Being exposed to the vast colourful fashion scene in the US and thanks to a few photographer friends over here, I have ventured into fashion &#x26;amp; lifestyle photography. A fashion enthusiast myself for many years, it seems inevitable that the fashion vibes and my photography merges. This is currently taking up most of my time and keeping me very busy. As always, I cannot escape photography and will look forward to reaching new heights ahead.
&#x3C;P&#x3E;&#x26;nbsp;I am currently constantly looking for talents and definitely welcome any creative partnerships with publications, agencies, models, creative stylist, makeup artist, hairstylist and DI artist/retouchers. Please feel free to contact me at &#x3C;B&#x3E;willisliu@hotmail.com&#x3C;/B&#x3E;&#x3C;BR&#x3E;&#x3C;BR&#x3E;I am intrigued by outrageous ideas, and like to do things different from everyone else, of course, it is also important to know what is trendy and new out there. I like to feel free to create, gives me satisfaction when a vision can be brought to life. I like to follow no rules in my pursuit of photography, only to try something exciting and new. So much to learn and so much to give at the same time. Photography is so subjective, something that is relevant now might not be relevant in the future. What appeals to one might not appeal to another. However, the goal is still to capture that few great fleeting-moment images which can be called timeless. Capture the moment or capture what you feel or like. For me, photography, to hold a camera to create an image, is to shoot with your heart, what feels right within, and follow thru till the end. &#x3C;BR&#x3E;&#x3C;BR&#x3E;&#x26;nbsp;

<title>Joleen: Multi-faceted</title>
<description>Shot mainly in studio. Part of a series of work with Pro makeup artist Candy Low. Wardrobe, concept and styling by me. As she came highly recommended with more than 20 years of experience, I was curious to explore and to see if Candy was able to add value in the overall process and production.

Clearly proficient in her art, she is also a great help during the process of the shoot, extremely attentive to details expected of her...sometimes to the point of getting into my shot...haha! Definitely one of better makeup artists on my list. Good job! Candy.....will see what magic you can inject into my future shoots.

Joleen, also a upcoming talent with great features I see having much potential...if properly mentored, can excel in the ad-media or showbiz industry.

Check back for more shoots updates....

<title>Studio Shoot: Cordelia</title>
<description>This series was meant to experiment with different studio lighting setup, and to play with light and shadow. Also to create different looks from the same shoot. The theme was Fur. So I created it..just for the shoot, including the leg warmers that is used by dancers..in this case..fashionably fur also. Black strings used to secure and tie around. Color of fur when I chose it turns out to be &#x22;honey&#x22; color. The black outfit is just another variation to this. Shot on 27th Jan at EMPI - 38 Kandahar Street.

Great thanks to the talents, without which these photos would not have been possible:

Model: Cordelia
Makeup artist: Diana Miswan
Photo and studio assistant: Peter

Will be updating more photos as time goes...</description>
